Professional associations have traditionally focused their activities in the provision of services to members. However, this need not be their only role. NACE International, the corrosion engineering and science community, that is recognized around the world as the premier authority for corrosion control solutions has chosen to take a proactive approach to changing industrial attitudes toward corrosion.
Through a variety of strategies, the Association which mission to protect people, assets, and the environment from the effects of corrosion, has been able to increase skills of individual members, promote awareness to every industry for better maintenance against corrosion to enhance their production reliabilities, introduce and implement effective and highest quality of corrosion controls' practices and provide better accessibility of information gain to all its members.
