NACE CIP LEVEL 1, JAKARTA 31 MARCH - 5 APRIL 2008

ABOUT THE COURSE
The NACE CIP Level 1 Course is an intensive presentation of the basic technology of coating application and inspection over a full 60 hours of personal instruction and practice. This course provides both the technical and practical fundamentals for coating inspection work on structural steel projects.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Although specifically designed for coating inspector trainees, this course will benefit anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of coatings application and inspection including: project engineers, quality assurance managers, contractors, painters, technical sales represen-tatives, blasters, paint applicators, and maintenance personnel.

PREREQUISITE
No prerequisite for this course

THE INSTRUCTOR
Robert Freedman is a Civil, Mechanical and Structural Engineer, working at the world's largest exporting coal terminal in Australia. He has been a strong supporter of corrosion associations and the education of corrosion and its prevention during the last 25 years. Rob once held the title of Education Director for the Australasian Corrosion Association and has also previously held executive positions including President & Operations Committee Chairman. Robert has taught the NACE Inter-national Coating Inspection Program (CIP) in the U.S.A., Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore and Fiji.

Graeme Kelly spent 15 years at the University of Queensland Chemical Engineering Department specializes in corrosion research, teaching and consultancy. For the last five years, he has been working full time as a private consultant in the materials & corrosion area
